The Green Oracle

Posted on May 25, 2020 by Herbage

Rayne Graham

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the very first Green Oracle. You know ask Abby? Well, this is a little bit like that. I want you, yes, you reading this right now, to ask me your questions. We are talking life questions or cannabis questions. Each month I will choose a few of those questions and answer them right here in the Green Oracle. Life questions will receive an oracle card pull as well as an answer to your question! Be aware, I am honest, blunt, sarcastic, and humorous. This means we want to keep the questions lighthearted and fun because that is how the answers will be coming to you.

Of course, cannabis questions will be answered informatively! Do you have a question about a brand that you have recently heard about? Ask the Green Oracle! Do you have a question about your home grow? Ask the Green Oracle? Bored during social distancing and have a “high” question? Ask the Green Oracle. This is meant to be fun for everyone as well as informative, so the sky is the limit people. Please note, you will always remain anonymous when your question is printed, and no real names will be used.

So where is the green part? Well, just like in my Strainology feature, I will be adding a cannabis strain to your answer to help out with the situation. I might also just throw a strain I think you should try in there for fun, just a heads up. To start this off on a good note, I thought it would be nice to do an oracle card pull for the Oklahoma Cannabis Community as a whole and recommend a Cannabis strain to accompany it. Are you in? Let’s do this.

Today I am using the Herbiary Oracle card set because it is all about herbs and botanicals that make for great plant-based medicine. Isn’t that what this community is all about? When I pulled from the deck, I asked for a message for the collective energy of the Oklahoma Cannabis Community and this is what I received: Thyme; Distill Yourself.  This card is telling us that as Thyme is a purifier, we must also purify our thoughts so we can see what is true. Have you seen your true path and turned away? Or have you stepped onto the path only to become unsure or distracted? Thyme is calling you back and asking, which path will you walk? This message might not resonate with everyone reading this, but it is telling whoever needs to hear this that its time to cleanse your thoughts and believe in yourself on the next step of your journey, you are not alone.

The strain recommendation I want to make when it comes to being a companion for this card is the Hybrid Cherry Pie. With all of this inner work, path choosing, and cleansing going on during a time of social distancing this strain can help keep us relaxed and in a good mood. I also want to add that it tastes delicious, like a cherry tarte, so it is a win/win to give it a try! Some effects to be prepared for are dry mouth and dry eyes so keep some water and eye drops nearby.

*Please send questions to Brittney@herbagemag.com  I look forward to hearing form you all*
