Roxxann Murphy uses
vivid colors, high contrast
and organic, swirling
shapes. Mostly on black or
dark backgrounds, she
creates abstract worlds
that seem to glow.
Her abstract work is often
laced into more figurative
portraits. The heavy line
work accentuates the
beauty and emotion she
perceives in her chosen
subject.
Roxxann lives in Norman,
OK and has shown her
work in Paseo Creativity
Center, Mainsite Gallery,
Gallery 259 and Lively
Beer Works.
She has
merchandise available at
Factory Obscura and her
first solo show at Stash in
Norman in July.
