Get in the sandbox

Glamorized is the place that many call a curse.  It’s a curse for those of us who can’t help it.  It’s a curse for those that enjoy it too much.  Take the cliche’ out of it and the edge is pretty damn mesmerizing.

Failing more than not I’ve let the edge take hold and grab me because…I like it.  I live it, without all the rockstar innuendos.

It’s rather fascinating… the ends that we will push ourselves simply for utter joy and pleasure.

I have a better one which is pushing oneself to the limit motivated by that sandbox called curiosity.

I find myself more and more curious about the things that people have no idea even existed.  I find myself curious about things that typically put you in harmful situations.  I find myself wondering what it would be like to be the person standing across the street.  So curious that I try to dive into their world in order to see if I might enjoy it.  I have found myself curious in pushing the limits of altering my thoughts and mind.  It’s called abuse, but to me it was curiosity that got me on the hook.

So hang in there with me.  I’ve got something to say.  I’m just highly medicated and in a wonderful vibe because I was able to try some recommended “Purple Mountain Majesty”.

Curiosity is the highway.  Don’t forget the neighborhoods while passing by.

I was very curious this morning so I went to one of my neighbors, The Green Door in Shawnee, OK.  I asked the budtender for one of her finest.  She said I’m In the wrong place…. I quickly corrected myself and with a stern look of confidence I asked her for a recommendation of her top shelf indica dominant hybrid.  She immediately smiled and presented her favorite strain.

Her smile was saying one thing, but my nose….well, my nose was saying another.  I trusted her, maybe I trusted her smile, not sure, but I took my package of curiosity down the road.

It was slightly sticky as it touched the paper.  I was again reluctant.  It did roll nicely, which could have been my skills.  I grabbed my walking stick for a stroll.  Let’s just say, I was “curious” about what was happening down the way.

When you know you know.

I made it about 50 yards.  Granted the snow held me back a bit and I was taking my sweet ass time (protocol).  That’s when I knew the budtender was right.  The terps kicked in just right.  I am a huge fan of linalool.  The problem is that linalool has a problem with my sinuses.  This “Purple Mountain Majesty” had none in it.  The terps were just right to mask that and give me something I may now be more of a fan of.  I mean come on… 27.94%THC  2.27 Terp.

I was very pleased by the time I finally gave it a chance.  I’m a shop-by-nose person.  I would not have purchased this if it were not for the knowledge of the budtender.

As I crunched the roach between my fingertips I tossed what was left and looked over to a guy walking in my vaccinity.  The smoke coming from his face as we met eyes looked rather…curious.
