If a Law is Unjust, a Man is Not Only Right to Disobey It, He is Obligated to Do So: Spekr CBD

Meet Amir Zendehnam;

Amir is the Founder, CEO, and Product Formulator of Spekr CBD, an optimal health and biohacking company with a focus on CBD. Amir, has over 10 years of work experience in every sector of Cannabis supply chain and years of work experience in electoral politics, government legislation and laws, economics, history, biochemistry, biohacking, optimal health research, nutrition, fitness, spirituality, and n=1 self-experimentation. Get to know about Amir’s journey from black market to green rush: “After repeatedly seeing the benefits it had on my life and the lives of others, I knew this was the right choice for me”.

Interview slightly edited for clarity:

Please tell me about your journey into the Cannabis industry?

“I came into the cannabis industry about 12 years ago, only a year after I started using cannabis. I got in the industry when there was barely any legal access to the plant, without the easy entry points into the market like we see today. It was still a medical marijuana only world on the legal side. Cannabis was highly criminalized and stigmatized at that time. But as Thomas Jefferson said, “If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so.”

I took a huge risk back then by following my intuition, but it is finally paying off now. It has been a valuable and exciting experience personally being part of the industry transition from black market with high levels of criminalization to white market with little to no criminalization.”

SpekrCBD, there is a uniqueness behind the name of the business, can you tell me about it?

“Spekr originally came from “full spectrum.” When coming up with the name a little over 2 years ago ago, I had to ask myself, “what do I do?” My answer? I do everything. So, I listened to my intuition and put myself in deep states of meditation until I got the signs I needed about the name. In my meditations, I visualized the full visible light spectrum, then I realized the humanly visible light spectrum makes up “everything” humans can naturally see with our eyes in this current dimensional reality.

From “full spectrum” came “Spekr.” And our company culture has grown using that exact standard: we do everything. Spekr only focuses on CBD today, but in the near future we will have other cannabinoid-based products as well.”

I love the Spekr facts posts on Instagram, why is that important?

“I started Spekr as more than just a CBD company. I wanted the focus to be education just as much as product. The Spekr Facts we create for our social media platforms are designed to easily digest otherwise hard to understand scientific research. I don’t believe charging money to receive basic education online is a valid practice when every single piece of information is right at our fingertips on the internet for free. Because of this, Spekr is just as much of a free educational platform as it is a product driven business. I’m very happy I retained this standard through the last 2 years of owning Spekr.”
