Citrus Fire Cannabis-Infused Steak with Whipped Feta & Roasted Potatoes

Posted on March 2, 2026March 2, 2026 by James Bridges

A dinner that plays offense and defense.

There’s something sacred about cooking with intention. Heat. Oil. Citrus zest hitting cast iron. The quiet crackle of something transforming.

Cannabis belongs here. Not as a punchline — but as an ingredient. Measured. Understood. Respected.

This elevated cannabis infused dinner recipe works for a March Madness gathering or an intimate dinner for two.

The Infusion: Cannabis Olive Oil

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup high-quality olive oil
  • 3.5 grams decarboxylated cannabis flower

Instructions:

  1. Decarb cannabis at 240°F for 35–40 minutes.
  2. Combine oil and cannabis in a mason jar.
  3. Heat in simmering water bath for 2–3 hours.
  4. Strain through cheesecloth.
  5. Store in dark glass container.

Important: Start low. Aim for 2–5mg per person.

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2 ribeye or NY strip steaks
  • 1 lb baby Yukon gold potatoes
  • 3 tbsp cannabis olive oil (divided)
  • 1 tbsp regular olive oil
  • 4 oz feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper

Roast the Potatoes

Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss potatoes in olive oil, salt, pepper and rosemary. Roast 30–40 minutes until crispy. Finish with a light drizzle of cannabis olive oil after roasting.

Cook the Steak

Sear salted steaks in hot cast iron with regular olive oil. Add butter, garlic, rosemary and baste. After resting, brush lightly with cannabis olive oil.

Whipped Feta

Blend feta, Greek yogurt, lemon zest and olive oil until smooth. Spread on plate before topping with sliced steak.

Edibles may take 45–90 minutes to feel effects.
