Advertising Sales Account Executive

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Advertising team! An advertising sales account executive’s main goal is to be the liaison between the client and the Herbage Magazine creative team. They manage budgets, ensure adherence to brand guidelines and keep leads for new business moving through the sales pipeline. They can be responsible for project management and making sure creative freelancers are up to speed and working effectively.

Proficient skills at bringing in new clients and closing contracts is required.

In most cases, the following responsibilities can be expected:

  • Meets with clients frequently, serving as contact between the client and creative/advertising team
  • Discusses strategy with clients and helps develop advertising campaigns
  • Presents creative proposals to clients for approval, making sure all components are in line with the brand
  • Addresses any issues or delays in the project, as well as clients’ feedback
  • Delivers completed projects to the client on time
  • Manages budgets for multiple accounts
  • Acquires new accounts and negotiates contracts

Who You Are

  • You have training and 2 years experience, preferably in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business
  • A knowledge digital media, planning and/or buying
  • You have strong cannabis industry knowledge and a desire to grow within the media industry
  • A reputation of providing world class customer service
  • Possess the ability to translate client requests to make recommendations that meet business objectives
  • Effectively uses data and research to accomplish tasks
  • You are a highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail who can work independently within a team focused organization
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline and detailed oriented environment and have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • You posses digital tools that will allow you to accomplish your goals
  • You like to travel

Where you’ll be:

  • This hire will work remotely within Oklahoma.


Commission based structure with available bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay


  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)


  • Outside Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
