🔮Horoscope:November sparks your innovative thinking,Aquarius. Share your unique vision and use your humanitarian spirit to inspire positive change inyour community.

🌱Suggested Strain: Blue Dream – Creative strain

According to allbud.com Blue Dream is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid (60% sativa/40% indica) strain that is a potent cross between the hugely popular Blueberry X Haze strains. This infamous bud boasts a moderately high THC level that ranges from 17-24% on average and a myriad of both indica and sativa effects. Users describe the Blue Dream high as having an immediate onset of an uplifting cerebral head high that leaves you completely motivated and focused with waves of creative energy that hit quickly and hard. This is accompanied by a mellow relaxing body high that leaves you warmed, numb, and completely pain free. Due to these potent combination effects, Blue Dream is said to be an ideal strain for treating patients suffering from conditions such as chronic stress, chronic pain due to injury or illness, mild to moderate cases of depression, and sleep disorders, including insomnia.

🌱Suggested Strain: Strawberry Cough – Creative strain

According to all bud.com Strawberry Cough is a sativa dominant hybrid strain (80% sativa/20% indica) created through crossing the classic Haze X Strawberry Fields strains. Famous around the world for its super delicious flavor and head-spinning high, Strawberry Cough is one bud that any sativa lover needs to add to their must-try list ASAP. Like its name suggests, Strawberry Cough has a super delicious sweet strawberry flavor but with a punch of spicy pepper upon exhale. The aroma is just as delightful, with a fresh strawberry overtone accented by a punch of spicy herbs, earthy pepper and a touch of sweetness. The Strawberry Cough high is one that will literally leave you coughing, with lifted cerebral effects that boost the brain while leaving you heaving with each exhale. You’ll feel energized and lifted with a sense of creative motivation and sociability that gets you moving on any creative tasks. At the same time, a soothing body high will wash over you, helping to calm aching muscles without causing any sort of sedation. Combined with its high 22-26% average THC level, these effects make Strawberry Cough a great choice for treating conditions such as chronic stress or anxiety, mood swings or depression and PTSD. This bud has dense conical bright neon green nugs with thick red-orange hairs and a coating of frosty, milky white crystal trichomes.

🦃Thanksgiving Correlation: Cranberry Bliss Bars

Cranberry Bliss Bars

Author Ashlyn Edwards | Belle of the Kitchen

Ingredients

Bars:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup Craisins

Frosting and Topping:

  • 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup Craisins roughly chopped
  • 2 squares white baking chocolate or almond bark melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 13×9 inch jelly roll pan or rimmed cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Beat together melted butter and brown sugar over medium speed with an electric mixer. Add in eggs, 1 tsp orange extract, and 1 tsp vanilla extract and beat until mixed well. Add in ground ginger, baking powder, salt, and flour, beating until just blended. Don’t overmix.
  • Stir in white chocolate chips and Craisins by hand. Spread evenly into the bottom of prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 18-22 minutes until set and golden brown at the edges. Don’t overbake or bars will be hard. Remove from oven and place pan on a wire rack to cool. Allow bars to cool completely before topping with frosting.
  • To make the frosting, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add 1/2 tsp orange extract and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and mix well. Top cooled bars with frosting. Sprinkle with chopped Craisins and drizzle white chocolate over the top with a fork. I dip my fork into the chocolate then shake it gently over the top of the bars to create little streaks. You can either slice right away and enjoy, or place the bars in the refrigerator for about an hour (what I like to do) to help them set up before cutting. Cut into triangles and enjoy!
